Floppy hats and gold jewelry…two of my favorite things. I’m not a huge accessory wearing type of girl but I’ve recently started to love this trend and have figured out how I can wear this in a way that’s not over the top.
I have to admit that for the longest time hats scared me to death. I always thought that I looked horrible in any and every type of hat. The first step was finding one that actually worked for me. My advice is try a bunch on. You never know until you try! My second words of advice are to be confident. I’ve realized lately sometime we as females get so caught up in what people will think if we wear this or that but honestly who cares. If you like the hat wear the hat! It’s that simple.
Growing up I only liked silver jewelry but now I love gold. It’s so wearable and goes with so much. I like to keep it simple with my Giving Key that has fearless engraved on it. It’s super easy to pair with an outfit. Start with a simple gold necklace and you will literally be able to wear it with whatever you like.
What better to do on a beautiful fall day than go to a pumpkin patch. It was absolutely beautiful here so of course I made my way to a pumpkin patch. I love picking out a pumpkin and taking it home to carve it’s sort of a tradition for me.Today my outfit was simple. My hat is from target. It’s actually the first time I’ve ever worn it and I love it. My floral top is from Forever 21. Jeans are from the only place I buy jeans which is H&M. My shoes are from a little store is Queens New York called Sassy Pickens.
After the Pumpkin Patch it was time to carve the pumpkin. I wanted it to look like Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas. I think it did just a happier version. I also had a little help from two fury friends.
The first sign of fall has come for us Floridians! It was a low of 67 degrees. Some of you might be laughing but for us when it gets below 70 we whip out the boots. Today marks the first day of my Autumn Blog Series. This series will consist of outfits, shoes, makeup, home supplies, and more!
Today I want to show you the outfit I wore for this beautiful weather. It’s a super simple look but I love it! Here’s what I’m wearing!
Hope you enjoyed! XOXO
This morning was absolutely amazing. I went to my church for service and I feel so renewed and full of hope. Before Church I was listening to You Make Me Brave by Bethel. I really just let it sink in. I let the words penetrate my heart. Im brave. Not because I make myself that or that the world has made me brave but God has. I’m so much more than I ever thought I was. I’m brave.
For my outfit it’s literally all from H&M except my shoes are from a store called Sassy Pickens in Queen, NYC. I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday. XOXO
Happy July 4th! I hope everyone is having a lovely day. I thought I would share my outfit with all of you real quick. My shirt is from Brandy Mellville, jeans Forever 21, and shoes from Target. Also my bracelet is actually something from my grandmas closet so I’m not sure where it’s from. I hope everyone who celebrates it had a wonderful 4th of July!
Today was a very special day because I got to go see my cousin’s sweet baby who was just born Saturday. She is beautiful and healthy. I am so in love! After My sisters and I went out for some Thai food and shopping at a rather large Target. Since it wasn’t to hot like it had been. I wore some thin tights from Target, my dress is Brandy Melville, my boots are from a boutique in NYC, and my hat is from Forever 21. I love this outfit. It’s chic yet comfortable. The hat pulls it all together. Hats have become staples in my wardrobe lately. I know this blog post was all over the place but hey just thought I would share my outfit and my thoughts with you all. XOXO
Today was a Disney day which doesn’t happen very often on a week day but today it did. My best friend and I spent the entire afternoon at Epcot. I guessed that it would be hot and I guessed right. It was scorching! So I went with a fun graphic Tank that I purchased at T.J Maxx, some high waisted shorts from Forever 21, and a pair of white vans looking shoes from Target. The outfit worked great for the weather and it was comfortable for walking around Disney. I love being a Floridian and this day reminded me why. What’s your favorite pieces to wear to a theme parks?
I love spring and I love spring fashion. I always imagine myself wearing all these bright colors during spring but I always tend to like darker colors on me. While my goal is to start wearing brighter colors tonight I found myself in all black. I had on a black tank top from H&M, dark skinny jeans from forever 21, and black booties from Topshop. I took a look in the mirror and thought to myself really it’s spring and you are in all black. So I stole this white kimono looking thing from forever 21 from my sisters closet and boom a little touch of spring. What is your favorite thing about spring?
This year for Easter I went with a white dress from H&M. I’ve never owned or worn a completely white dress so it was a little out of the box for me. It doesn’t look like it but it was. I asked which dress you guys thought I would pick. Nobody guessed this one. I styled it different from the picture. Instead of the blue kimono I paired it with a big coral statement necklace from Forever 21. I also wore gold sandals from Target. I have spent my day with a lot of family which was great. What did you wear and how did you spend your day?
