Brand Focus: W7 Cosmetics

About two years ago I discovered this brand on a trip to the UK and fell in love with their nail polish. I thought that’s the only thing they sold. After I was back in the states I discovered that it was actually a full line of makeup products but then sort of forgot about it. Well last year I rediscovered this company and actually bought the In the Buff Palette and the In the Nude palette which I did a full review here. http://floridafashionbabes.com/2014/11/05/urban-decay-naked-2-dupe/ This company is based out of London. It was created so that every women can have affordable high quality makeup. I love the concept. It has grown and grown over the years and now carries over five hundred fabulous products.W7forblogThis month I tried four new amazing products that I have to share. The Angel Eyes Palette is beautiful. The pigmentation of these shadows match up to high end eye shadows. The shimmers are especially creamy and easy to apply. The lipstick Red Tulip, which makes no sense because its pink, is lovely. Its creamy and glides onto your lips easily. Night Glow is a highlighter that gives you a beautiful pop of iridescence to your cheek bones. The Absolute Lashes is a great mascara it lengthens really well and I tend to go over it with my Maybelline the Rocket Mascara to make my lashes look a little fuller. I swatched two shades of the Angel Eyes Palette, Night Glow, and Red Tulip to show you just how amazing these are. w7forblog2

w7forblog3W7 continues to blow my mind with their inexpensive and high quality products. This brand is something to get excited for. Hope you enjoyed!

What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag?

The Holidays are upon us yet again and I’m sure a lot of you, like me, will be traveling quite a bit. I’m on a road trip as we speak up to Tennessee and I’m so excited! Packing can be annoying. I tend to literally just throw anything and everything in my travel makeup bag. This time I planned it out a little more so I didn’t take as much as I usually do. I also bought a smaller Betsey Johnson makeup bag. Here’s a little peek at what I put in my bag.

IMG_9411-0.JPG As you can see it’s still a lot of makeup but trust me when I say that’s a small amount compared to what I usually would bring on a trip. You can also see I brought a lot of lip products. That’s one thing I won’t bring less of because I feel like I can never have to many. What your must have product in your travel makeup bag? Hope you enjoyed! XOXO

Fall Makeup | Autumn Blog Series

There is nothing like waking up and feeling the Autumn air and knowing you can wear a lot of makeup because it won’t melt away. Just kidding I live in Florida and it’s still 87 degrees but I do it anyways. Fall is the perfect time to play around and experiment with makeup. I personally love dark makeup during this time of the year. So today thats what I went with. I think this look still has a natural feel in the eyes but the lips make it a little edgy/glam. Here is my finished look along with the products I used!

Summertime Favorites

During the summertime I love to switch up my makeup a little bit. In Florida the heat is killer and makeup can very easily melt away. So here is what I like to use on a everyday basis during the summer.

1.Face: NYX Hd Concealer, Benefit’s Porefessional Primer, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in Warm Ivory, and last Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NC15.

2. Bronzer, Blush, and Eyebrows: Maybelline Master Bronze in Weekend Bronze, Palladio Eyebwow Pencil in Brown, and Elf Studion Blush in Fushia Fusion.

3. Eyes: Stila In the Garden Palette, Stila Smudge Stick eyeliner in Starfish, Urban Decay’s Primer Potion, and Benefit’s Bad Gal Lash.

Lips: Mac lustrous Lipstick in Angel and NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Salsa.

Hope you all enjoyed my favorite summertime makeup. Let me know what is your go to item during the summer. XOXO

Would I Buy the Full Size? Benefit’s Tints

Over the last few months I’ve bought a few Benefit kits with a bunch of little samples in them. In several of these kits there was the Benefits Posietint, Benetint, and Lollitint. I had heard a lot about these tints that Benefit put out and decided to give the sample sizes a try.

Now that I have tried all three I can say I most likely won’t purchase the full sizes. Maybe it’s because I find them hard to put on. If they dry even a little in certain areas they will leave you looking splotchy. I don’t know about you but that is not a cute look. I have tried using my finger and I’ve tried using a brush. Nothing seems to work. I was a little disappointed because I love Benefit. I will say that Benetint applied the best out of the three on me. Just because this didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it can’t work for you. That being said if anyone has any tips on how to apply this let me know! XOXO
