New York City

I love the city but I exspecially love the city during Christmas time. There is something that is magical about it. The crowded city streets, crazy crowds, and decorations all over the city always seem to put me in the Christmas spirit. One of my favorite parts of Christmas time in New York City is the Christmas Markets throughout the city. My absolute favorite is the Bryant Park Christmas Village. You can buy ornaments, accessories, and my personal favorite is the food. The fried pickles and Nutella Banana Crepes are my favorite. This year I went to see the Radio City Rockettes for the second time. I have loved the Rockettes since I was a little girl and I am so happy I was able to see them again. We decided to do the Top of the Rock and that never disappoints. The views from the Rockefeller Center are breathtaking. It’s my favorite view of the city. Our final night we did a NYC harbor tour, which I have never done, and loved it. The tour stops in the financial district, Brooklyn, and the Statue of Liberty. We went at sunset so we got to see the sun go down over the city and it was just beautiful.I feel really blessed to have the opportunity to go to New York. I’ve been three times in the last three years and I never get tired of this beautiful city.

One of my new favorite places for New York style cheesecake is Eileen’s Special Cheesecake. So yummy!

We had such a great time in the city. I hope you have all had a great Thanksgiving vacation and hope you enjoyed taking a peek at mine!

Tennessee Day 4: Morning Walks, Thanksgiving, and Snow

We started our day by taking a morning walk. It was very relaxing but super cold. It’s nice to take a step back and just take everything in.

IMG_9964.JPG Then the Thanksgiving day festivities began. It was so nice having Thanksgiving in the country. We ate a whole lot and just relaxed for a bit.

IMG_0027.JPG After a bit more relaxing we decided to drive into Gatlinburg. All week the weather has called for snow and us Floridians were very excited. Well it never did until today. The snow finally came! I was so happy and it was a perfect way to end our time in Tennessee.

Tennessee Day 3: Doughnuts, Aquarium, and Mountain Views

Today we spent the day in Gatlinburg. It’s a quaint little town in the smokies with endless places to eat and shop. As we were walking we noticed a doughnut shop called Maypops. The doughnuts looked so good we couldn’t pass it up. We also couldn’t pass up a glass bottle coke.

IMG_9858.JPGAfter that we headed to the aquarium. I saw pictures of this aquarium a few weeks back and decided that I would really like to go. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Such a cool place. At one part there is a underwater experience section. Which was my favorite part.

IMG_9850-0.JPG Then we decided to go on the Sky Lift which I was hesitant at first to go on. Even though the ride up was a bit terrifying the view at the top was worth it. Its crazy how beautiful it is.

IMG_9849.JPG Now we are ending our night with a Christmas light tour. It was a perfect day and I can’t wait for Thanksgiving tomorrow! Hope you enjoyed! XOXO

Tennessee Day 1: Roadtrip, Country Roads, and Fall Leaves

Our road trip started yesterday afternoon, we left Florida and headed to Tennessee with a stop overnight in Georgia. I love road trips there’s something that’s just so fun about them. When I travel especially on road trips I’m the queen of comfort as you can see.

IMG_9497.JPG We arrived in Tennessee this afternoon and just hung out in our cabin. Our cabin has the most beautiful view and its up a cute little country road.

IMG_9473.JPG The cabin also has a lot of pretty fall leaves. The fall leaves are a novelty for this Florida girl. So of course I snapped a few photos.

IMG_9498.JPG To end the night we spent it by the Old Mill and shopped in some of the little shops next to it. I hope you all will enjoy my little vacation series this week! XOXO
